Lake Ontario Trek
Ride around Lake Ontario on an international adventure that includes Niagara Falls, the cosmopolitan city of Toronto and the beautiful 1000 Islands. At Niagara Falls we’ll take the Maid of the Mist & hike below in the Niagara Gorge. We’ll then bike past the enormous lake freighters on the Welland Canal and swim at the Confederation Water Park In Toronto we will visit the Toronto Islands, major museums, and Chinatown. As we head east to the 1000 Islands on bike paths and back roads we will find many beaches/provincial parks and sleep in the famous Lighthouse Hostel. On the south side of the lake we’ll find great road biking & scenery and we’ll visit Chimney Bluffs, Rochester, and portions of the Erie Canal as we return to Buffalo for great architecture & wings.
